My little story
Ever since I was a child I have loved reading. I remember saying goodnight to my mum and hiding with a torch under the covers just so that I could finish books in secret. Books have been a key part of my life, being with me both in my highs and my lows.
When I started university, I found it difficult to find the time to read between the lectures and the compulsory readings. It meant that I went down to reading only a couple of books per year. As soon as I finished up my Masters degree I started to read again. Then, 2023 came around and I read 54 books and I knew that 2024 will continue the trend.
As well as reading I have always had a love for writing. I used to have a blog going when I was doing my GCSEs but as I entered my A-Levels I had to prioritise my studies and so did not continue with the blog. For 2024 I decided that I wanted to get back into writing and so I am combining my love of reading with my love of writing with this blog.
